Ikshu Pandey (she/her/hers) is a senior at Johns Hopkins University who is double majoring in Neuroscience and Materials Science & Engineering on the pre-medical track. She hopes to join the medical field and treat underrepresented individuals with neurodegenerative conditions/audiovisual disabilities. Outside of classes, she is a fierce advocate and serves as Director of Community Engagement for the Asian Americans with Disabilities Initiative, is a member of JHU’s inaugural Disability Inclusion Advisory Committee, and engages in active citizenship in Baltimore through her role as Student Director of JHU’s Baltimore First organization.
